Sad news

Lisa, my grandchildren's other grandmother, lost her battle with breast cancer Sunday night.  She maintained her joyful, positive attitude to the end.  The last time I saw her was in August at my grandson's birthday party.  Life is so cruel sometimes.  She leaves behind two children in high school and my grandchildren's mother.  I am so thankful that my grand kids were able to know and love her.

So sad. It'll be hard on everyone, but especially those high schoolers. Sending prayers and good wishes their way.

I was reading about your dieting and I am dieting also. I've lost 30 lbs. by cutting out gluten altogether. I told my doctor some of my symptoms of when I eat anything with gluten in it and he said I was allergic to it. I quit eating it (just it) and the weight starting falling off of me. But, it's in the strangest foods. Like salami! So you have to read up on it pretty thoroughly because once you cut it out of your diet, then if you eat something with it in it, you pay for it big time...gastrointestional wise. Just a tip. I've gone down 3 pant sizes and still going down. Loving life now. Making homemade jerky and eating it a lot. Very healthy...protein. Dr. said so. I believe everything my doctor says and he's been right so far.
