Scarecrows, pirates and such

Here is a Disappearing 9-patch Halloween quilt.  I used Riley Blake's Halloween fabric and some other prints that I had.  I quilted it in spiderwebs with glow-in-the-dark thread.  Only thing with the thread is you have to have a black light for it to glow.  I will probably buy one just to see how it looks in the dark.
Here are a few of my favorite people.  Batman:
The scarecrow and the pirate:  ( I made this costume-turned out so cute.  We had trouble keeping the tulle from crinkling.)
 Shy Thomas the Train:
 And the vampire:

You are very gifted in the costume department. Also, I make rag dolls. Have for years. And you are right on about how long it takes to make one doll. But to me it is worth it. I usually do assembly line work. Do all the cutting, stuffing, sewing body together, sewing hair, drawing faces, making clothes, etc. I almost like it more than quilting. And by quilting I mean sewing the quilt together. I don't quilt quilt.
